About Me
Having worked in the technology business for over 30 years I have a huge range of experience and skills. I had my first commercial software published at 14 years old, was involved in the first home digital satellite receivers, have run web development companies, wrote the first TV-commerce software in the UK, and worked on innovative Cloud technologies in the USA before the phrase Cloud had even been coined.
I currently run Appware where we build amazing Mobile Apps for smartphones. Our work has been recognised by awards & has been featured on BBC TV, Radio, and in the national media.
More recently I've had great feedback after sharing my stories and opinions at events all around the UK. I'm told that I speak with passion and talk about the real world use and benefits of technology rather than just the geeky stuff. All delivered in a fun style and often wearing my trademark flat cap or Google Glass :)
